The sun is out and the weather's right. You've found your perfect home. Shows like a beauty. What's next?
Create your to-do list:
You should already be Pre-Approved before seeking an offer.
Give your agent a copy of your lender's pre-approval letter & put in an offer.
Be open to receiving the expertise of your agent, but ultimately the decision is yours.
Your estimated costs may range from $500 to in the thousands. Know your limitations but be prepared to pay out of pocket (pre-closing costs).
Offer Accepted? Tell your lender. The loan documentation needs to be completed, you may
need to submit some additional documentation. Your mortgage broker or loan officer can
provide this information for you.
During your due diligence period of up to 14 days. Secure your loan. Set up your appraisal. Select your closing attorney. Find home owners insurance. Get a copy of the Home Owner Association Covenant and by laws. Schedule a survey (suggested but not required). Schedule a home and pest inspection.
Find an agent that can help make this underwhelming. Start with me, I'm willing to help. You can relax, I'll work so you can sleep.
